When my human isn't working at her advertising job, she works part-time for a pet service company. This weekend we have Mazie staying with us.
While she's cute, I had to make sure to let her know who is in charge. My human calls me a bully. I call it being assertive.
Anyway... Mazie has a lot of energy and it's quite exhausting for me and my human. So she gets this grand idea of taking us for a walk.
True to my human's nature, she made us stop and pose for pictures. Sooo embarrassing but at least she recognizes I was made for the spotlight.
My human clearly did not look at the weather forecast before we left, because about 10 minutes after this picture a thunderstorm hit. Loud noises came from the sky and bright flashes of light scattered above us. We walked/ran for about 15 minutes in a downpour to get back home.
A soaked pug is a pissy pug. She sooooo owes me.
Imparting my pug wisdom upon my human while attempting to take over the world.

I no feel good
*cue sad pug face*
I haven't been blogging much lately because a) I don't feel well and b) my human hogs the computer.
So, anyway... my human has made many visits to the vet *cringe* in the past few weeks. Apparently I have a "bladder" issue thing going on. I don't know what that means... all I know is it hurts to pee.
At first the vet *cringe* thought it was a bladder infection, so she put me on some antibiotics that hurt my tummy. Turns out that didn't help, so it's not a bladder infection. Apparently there are tiny crystals in my pee (so weird) and I'm going to have to go on some special medicated food to make the crystals go away. (My step-grandpa says it won't taste good as my BOGO Bowl food does so I'm hoping this is negotiable) Apparently the bacteria use these crystals like little floating rafts and hang out on them and party. Damn bacteria.
If the food doesn't help, the vet *cringe* wants to do a x-ray to make sure I don't have any bladder stones. My human is REALLY hoping it doesn't come to that... and so do I.
So, my friends, please send some positive thoughts, vibes, chi, dog treats my way. I would really enjoy and appreciate a pain-free pee again.

A farm life
So my cousin Cal moved to a farm in Missouri a few weeks ago. I don't know if I've ever been to a real farm before. He told me that soon there will be chickens and goats running around. I'm not sure what those are but I'm sure I'd enjoy chasing them around this place.
Even my human, a token city girl, is thinking this place is pretty swell. Maybe one day I will have my own farm to run around in. But until then hopefully more farm visits are in my future.
